I have acne prone skin, and I have some scars. So I wear makeup often. Using the Light Work cleansing oil is a magical experience. I use it as a first cleanse to really dissolve makeup, sunscreen before going in with a second cleanser. If I’m not wearing makeup, this is a great cleansing oil even for morning cleanses as it really soothes my skin.
Couldn’t live without it. I think I’ve repurchased 7-8 times :)

It's quite a thick and viscous oil that sinks into skin easily and doesn't leave too much oily residue on the skin. It smells absolutely divine! Maybe a little bit nutty with herbaceous earthy undertones and a hint of citrus (maybe from the Lemongrass oil?) - it smells fresh and very clean.
It does contain tamanu oil, so don't use if you have a nut allergy!
In the morning, my skin looks and felt hydrated. Excited to see the long term results.

I wanted to upgrade from my 1% retinol and after some research, I found out that Retinal is actually the best form of vitamin A right now to help with signs of ageing, hyperpigmentation and enlarged pores. I started in the Medik8 0.6% right away as I’m already used to retinol - if you’re starting just now with it go for the 0.3%. I had no irritation at all (I use a specific retinal product for around the eyes), I’ve been using every night, sometimes followed by a night moisturiser. My skin is glowing and imperfections such as hyperpigmentation are definitely improving. I truly recommend this product to anyone wanting to upgrade their nighttime skincare routine.
